في تصعيد جديد يندرج ضمن نهج الإجرام المستمر لميليشيات تنظيم PKK/PYD الإرهابي، قامت هذه الميليشيات بتاريخ اليوم الخميس 20 كانون الثاني 2022 باستهداف الأحياء السكنية والسوق الشعبي وسط مدينة عفرين بالصواريخ، مما أدى وكحصيلة أولية إلى استشهاد أربعة أشخاص وإصابة خمس وعشرين آخرين بينهم نساء وأطفال.
وكانت الميليشيات الإرهابية قد استهدفت في نفس اليوم بصاروخ موجه سيارة في بلدة مريمين التابعة لناحية كفر جنة مما أدى إلى استشهاد امرأة وإصابة شخصين، كما قامت بتنفيذ رشقات صاروخية على الطرق الرئيسية في الشمال السوري، وقد قام جيشنا الوطني بالرد الفوري على مصادر النيران.
تأتي هذه العمليات الإرهابية الجديدة في ذكرى انطلاق عملية غصن الزيتون في عام 2018 لتحرير عفرين من دنس تلك الميليشيات الإرهابية، كعمليات انتقامية جبانة تستهدف المدنيين الأبرياء وتهدف إلى زعزعة الاستقرار وقتل فرص الحياة العامة.
إن هذه الجرائم والانتهاكات توضح مجدداً للعالم أسره مدى الحقد والوحشية التي تحملها تلك الميليشيات الإرهابية للشعب السوري ومحاولتها المستمرة لنشر الموت الإرهاب والدمار.
وإننا إذ ندين في الحكومة السورية المؤقتة هذا العدوان الإجرامي الجبان بحق شعبنا الأعزل، نجدد دعوتنا للدول والمؤسسات الداعمة لهذه الميليشيات بضرورة لجمها والتوقف عن دعمها الذي يسهم من حيث النتيجة في قتل الأبرياء.
ونؤكد أننا كما حررنا كامل عفرين ورأس العين وتل أبيض من دنس هذا التنظيم الإرهابي، فإننا ماضون في جهودنا حتى القضاء عليه وتطهير كافة المناطق من دنسه وإرهابه، كما نتقدم بأحر التعازي لذوي الشهداء وبدعائنا بالشفاء العاجل للجرحى والمصابين.
Statement on the Violations of the Terrorist Organization PKK/PYD against Civilians on the Anniversary of Olive Branch Operation Launch
In a new escalation that falls within the ongoing criminal approach of the militias of the terrorist PKK/PYD organization, these militias today, Thursday, January 20th, 2022, targeted residential neighborhoods and the popular market in the city center of Afrin with missiles. As a result, four people were killed and twenty-five others were injured, including women and children.
On the same day, the terrorist militia targeted a car with a guided missile in Maryamin town in the Kafr Jannah district, which led to the death of a woman and the injury of two people. It also carried out missile bursts on the main roads in northern Syria. Our national army responded immediately to the sources of the fire.
These new terrorist operations come on the anniversary of the Olive Branch Operation Launch in 2018 to liberate Afrin from the defilement of these terrorist militias, as cowardly reprisals targeting innocent civilians and aiming to destabilize and kill public life opportunities.
These crimes and violations once again demonstrate to the world the captivity of the hatred and brutality that these terrorist militias bear for the Syrian people and their continuous attempt to spread death, terror and destruction.
The Syrian Interim Government condemns this cowardly criminal aggression against our defenseless people. We renew our call to the countries and institutions that support these militias, to curb them and stop supporting them, which, in terms of result, contribute to the killing of innocents.
We affirm that just as we fully liberated Afrin, Ras al-Ain and Tal Abyad from the desecration of this terrorist organization, we are continuing our efforts to eradicate it and purify all areas of its defilement and terrorism.
We also extend our deepest condolences to the families of the martyrs and our prayers for the speedy recovery of the wounded and injured.
