يصادف اليوم الذكرى السنوية الخامسة لعملية نبع السلام التي انطلقت بالتعاون بين الجيش الوطني السوري والجيش التركي بتاريخ 9 تشرين الأول 2019، حيث تم من خلالها تحرير مدينتي رأس العين وتل أبيض وأريافهما بمساحة تزيد عن 4000 كيلو متر مربع من سيطرة عصابات PKK/PYD الإرهابية التي احتلت المنطقة ومارست جرائمها وانتهاكاتها بحق المدنيين.

واستمرت الجهود الحثيثة في تعزيز الأمن والاستقرار في المنطقة المحررة وإعادة تأهيلها، وبناء المؤسسات وتفعيل دورها وبناء قدرات الموظفين وتشكيل المجالس المحلية وتأهيل البنى التحتية والمرافق الخدمية والتعليمية والصحية وإنشاء المشافي والمدارس وشبكات الطرق والمياه والكهرباء وتوفير كل مقومات الحياة وتأمين الاحتياجات الأساسية للمنطقة.

لقد جسّدت تلك العملية التضحيات العظيمة لأبطال جيشنا الوطني والجيش التركي الشقيق الذين امتزجت دماؤهم الطاهرة على أرض سوريا دفاعاً عن حقوق شعبنا وقضيته العادلة.

الرحمة للشهداء الذين سطّروا أروع ملاحم البطولة حتى تعيش المنطقة بالأمن والاستقرار، كما نشكر الدولة التركية حكومةً وشعباً على وقوفهم معنا ومد يد العون لنا في أصعب الظروف التي مرت بها ثورتنا.

ونغتنم هذه المناسبة لنؤّكد على استمرارنا في الدفاع عن شعبنا وأرضنا في وجه النظام المجرم والمليشيات الانفصالية وكل قوى الإرهاب وصد عدوانهم ودحر محاولاتهم في تهديد أمن واستقرار المنطقة، وسنمضي قُدماً في طريق الثورة حتى الخلاص من النظام المجرم وقوى الإرهاب.

Statement On the Fifth Anniversary of Operation Peace Spring

Today marks the fifth anniversary of Operation Peace Spring, which was launched in cooperation between the Syrian National Army and the Turkish Army on October 9, 2019. Through this operation, the cities of Ras al-Ayn and Tal Abyad, along with their surrounding areas covering more than 4,000 square kilometers, were liberated from the control of the terrorist PKK/PYD gangs that had occupied the region and committed crimes and violations against civilians.

The concerted efforts continued to enhance security and stability in the liberated area, rehabilitate it, establish institutions, activate their role, build the capacities of employees, form local councils, and rehabilitate infrastructure, as well as service, educational, and health facilities. Hospitals, schools, road networks, and water and electricity systems were also established to provide all essentials for life and ensure the basic needs of the region.

This operation embodied the tremendous sacrifices of the heroes of our National Army and the brotherly Turkish Army, whose pure blood mingled on Syrian soil in defense of the rights of our people and their just cause.

Mercy to the martyrs who wrote the most heroic epics so that the region may live in peace and stability. We also extend our thanks to the Turkish government and people for standing with us and extending a helping hand during the most difficult times of our revolution.

We take this occasion to reaffirm our commitment to defending our people and land against the criminal regime, separatist militias, and all terrorist forces. We will continue to repel their aggression and thwart their attempts to threaten the security and stability of the region, as we march forward in the path of the revolution until the criminal regime and terrorist forces are eradicated.
