أصدرت منظمة الأسلحة الكيمائية تقريراً بتاريخ 1 شباط 2022 يثبت بالدليل القاطع قيام الطيران المروحي لنظام الأسد المجرم باستخدام غاز الكلور في قصف مشفى ميداني يقع خارج بلدة كفر زيتا في محافظة حماة بتاريخ       1 تشرين الأول 2016، مما أدى إلى إصابة عشرين شخصاً بحالات اختناق، حيث أكدت بعثة تقصي الحقائق التابعة للمنظمة أنها حصلت على أسطوانات الكلور التي تم استخدامها في ذلك القصف.

نرحب بكل ما ورد بالتقرير والذي يثبت استخدام النظام المجرم للأسلحة الكيمائية، ونؤكد على أن هذا التقرير يشكل مثالاً من أمثلة كثيرة عن استخدام النظام المجرم للأسلحة الكيميائية ضد الشعب، وكان من أشهرها مجزرة الكيماوي في الغوطة بتاريخ 21 آب 2013 والتي أدت إلى استشهاد وإصابة الآلاف، وكذلك القصف الكيماوي على خان شيخون بتاريخ 4 نيسان 2017، وغيرها الكثير من المجازر المروعة التي ارتكبها النظام بشتى صنوف الأسلحة.

ورغم ذلك مازال المجرم طليقاً خارج قبضة العدالة متمادياً في إجرامه بسبب تهاون المجتمع الدولي في فرض احترام مبادئ الشرعية الدولية وحقوق الإنسان ووقف الجرائم.

يشكل هذا التقرير خطوة هامة نحو إدانة النظام المجرم وإثبات جرائمه أمام العالم، ولكن يجب أن تعقبه خطوات جادة وملموسة تضمن ملاحقة مرتكبي تلك الجرائم وإنهاء ظاهرة الإفلات من العقاب.

Statement on the OPCW Report Regarding the Regime's Use of Chlorine Gas in 2016 

 The OPCW issued a report on February 1st, 2022, which proves with conclusive evidence that the criminal Assad regime’s helicopters used chlorine gas in bombing a temporary hospital located outside Kafr Zita town in Hama Governorate on October 1st, 2016. The bombing caused the injury of twenty people with suffocation.  The organization's fact-finding mission confirmed the use of chlorine gas and obtained the chlorine cylinders that were used in that bombing

 We welcome all that which was mentioned in the report that proves the criminal regime’s use of chemical weapons. We stress that this report is an example of many examples of the criminal regime’s use of chemical weapons against the Syrian civilians. The most famous of which was the chemical massacre in Ghouta on August 21st, 2013, which led to the death and injury of thousands.  As well as the chemical bombing of Khan Sheikhoun on April 4th, 2017, and many other horrific massacres committed by the regime with all kinds of weapons 

 Despite this, the criminal is still outside the grip of justice and persists in his criminality due to the negligence of the international community in imposing respect for the principles of international legitimacy, human rights and stopping crimes 

 This report is an important step towards condemning the criminal regime and proving its crimes in front of the world. Nevertheless, it must be followed by serious and tangible steps to ensure the prosecution of the perpetrators of these crimes and an end to the phenomenon of impunity
