كان يوم الحادي والعشرين من شهر آب عام 2013 يوماً أسوداً في تاريخ الإنسانية، عندما تجاوز نظام الأسد الإرهابي كل المحرّمات وقصف الغوطة الشرقية بالسلاح الكيماوي مما أدى إلى وقوع مجزرة رهيبة.

ففي فجر ذلك اليوم الحزين بدأت قوات النظام بتنفيذ حملة قصف بصواريخ تحمل رؤوساً كيماوية استهدفت مناطق متفرقة من بلدات الغوطة الشرقية، مما أدى إلى استشهاد حوالي 1500 شخص ماتوا اختناقاً وإصابة الآلاف بحالات اختناق، وكان غالبية الضحايا من النساء والأطفال.

اكتفى العالم بعد ارتكاب تلك المجزرة المروعة بالإدانة والتنديد تاركاً عصابة الأسد الكيماوي في الحكم يرتكب مزيداً من المجازر بحق السوريين حتى اليوم.

ورغم وجود أدلة دامغة على ارتكاب عصابة الأسد لتلك المجزرة بالسلاح الكيماوي لكن المجرمون استطاعوا الإفلات من العقاب لغاية الآن بسبب التخاذل الدولي وسقوط منظومة القيم الأخلاقية التي يتغنى بها دعاة الحضارة وحقوق الإنسان.

نسترجع هذه المأساة لنذكِّر العالم بالفظائع التي ارتكبتها هذه العصابة المتوحشة على مدار عقد من الزمن تعرّض خلالها السوريون لكل أشكال القتل والتعذيب والتهجير، كما شكّلت تلك العصابة أكبر تهديد للسلم والأمن الدوليين.

ونؤكد بأن الشعب السوري لا يمكن أن ينسى أو يسامح هذه العصابة المجرمة، و انه  لا بد من تقديمها للعدالة لمحاسبتها عن كل ما اقترفته من جرائم.

 On the Commemoration of the Chemical Massacre in Ghouta

The 21st of August 2013 was a black day in the history of humanity, when the terrorist Assad regime broke all taboos and bombed Eastern Ghouta with chemical weapons, which caused a terrible massacre

At the dawn of that sad day, the regime forces began carrying out a bombing campaign with missiles carrying chemical warheads targeting separate areas of the towns of Eastern Ghouta, which led to the death of about 1,500 people who died of suffocation and thousands suffered suffocation, and the majority of the victims were women and children

After committing that horrific massacre, the world did nothing except condemnation, leaving the chemical Assad gang in power to commit more massacres against Syrians until today

Although there is compelling evidence that the Assad gang committed that massacre with chemical weapons, the criminals have managed to escape punishment so far due to international inaction and the downfall of the system of moral values ​​that advocates of civilization and human rights sing about

We recall this tragedy to remind the world of the atrocities committed by this savage gang over a decade in which Syrians were subjected to all forms of killing, torture and displacement, and that gang posed the greatest threat to international peace and security

We affirm that the Syrian people cannot forget or forgive this criminal gang, and that it must be brought to justice to be held accountable for all the crimes it has committed
