يصادف يوم 30 آب من كل عام إحياء ذكرى اليوم الدولي لضحايا الاختفاء القسري. وفي هذا اليوم نستحضر بألمٍ معاناة مئات الآلاف من السوريين مجهولي المصير، وما يتعرضون له من أساليب التعذيب الوحشي والمعاملة اللاإنسانية في معتقلات عصابات الأسد ومليشيات PKK/PYD الإرهابية، حيث اتخذت تلك الأطراف المجرمة من عمليات الاختفاء القسري سياسة ممنهجة لقمع الشعب وترهيبه.

كما نبدي تعاطفنا مع ذوي الضحايا وما يتعرضون له من قهر وابتزاز في سبيل الكشف عن مصير ذويهم وإنهاء معاناتهم في أقبية الظلام.

إن تلك الممارسات الوحشية المتمثلة في الإخفاء القسري تعتبر من أكثر الجرائم التي يتعرض لها شعبنا منذ ما يزيد عن عقد من الزمن، ولعل ما كشفت عنه صور قيصر ومجزرة حي التضامن وغيرها بحق المدنيين الأبرياء ممن جرى إخفاؤهم قسرياً وتعذيبهم وقتلهم، لا تكشف إلا عن جزءٍ يسيرٍ من الحجم الهائل للمحرقة التي يعيشها المعتقلون والمختفون قسرياً في سجون عصابات الأسد ومليشيات PKK/PYD الإرهابية.

ونؤكد على الدوام أن ملف المختفين قسرياً هو ملف إنساني غير قابل للتفاوض، وأنه لا بد من الكشف عن مصير المختفين قسرياً وإطلاق سراحهم دون أي قيد أو شرط، ومحاسبة كل المتورطين في هذه الجريمة النكراء.

Statement

In memory of the International Day of the Victims of Enforced Disappearances

The thirtieth of August of each year marks the International Day of the Victims of Enforced Disappearances. On this day, we recall with pain the suffering of hundreds of thousands of Syrians with unknown fate, and the brutal torture and inhuman treatment they are subjected to in the detention centers of Assad’s gangs and PKK/PYD militias.

We also express our sympathy to the families of the victims and the oppression and blackmail they are subjected to in order to reveal the fate of their relatives and end their suffering in the vaults of darkness.

Those brutal practices of enforced disappearance are considered among the most serious crimes that our people have been subjected to for more than a decade. Perhaps what was revealed by Caesar’s photographs and the massacre of Al-Tadamon neighborhood and others against innocent civilians who were forcibly disappeared, tortured and killed, they only reveal a small part of the huge size of the Holocaust experienced by the prisoners and the disappeared in the prisons of the Assad's gangs and PKK/PYD terrorist militias.

We always stress that the file of the forcibly disappeared is a non-negotiable humanitarian file, and that the fate of the forcibly disappeared must be revealed and they must be released unconditionally, and all those involved in this heinous crime must be held accountable
