سعياً منه في الإمعان في حصار السوريين وتجويعهم في الأراضي السورية عموماً وفي المناطق المحررة خصوصاً، أصدر نظام الأسد المجرم قراراً ومن طرف واحد بتفويض الأمم المتحدة ووكالاتها المتخصصة بإدخال المساعدات من معبر باب الهوى ولمدة ستة أشهر وبالتعاون والتنسيق الكامل معه، مما يعني التحكم بالمساعدات الأممية في هذه المناطق واستغلالها وفق مصالحه ودعم آلته الحربية في مواجهة السوريين.

وتأتي هذه الخطوة المعادية للشعب السوري من خلال عرقلة إيصال المساعدات الإنسانية إلى ملايين المحتاجين في مناطق الشمال السوري ومحاولة تسييسها والسيطرة عليها بالتزامن مع عدوانه الآثم على الشعب السوري عن طريق القصف المستمر للمدن والأسواق.

وإننا في الحكومة السورية المؤقتة إذ نعرب عن رفضنا لهذا المسعى فإننا نؤكد مجدداً على ضرورة عدم تسييس ملف المساعدات الإنسانية، وندعو مجلس الأمن الدولي إلى تحمل مسؤولياته تجاه السوريين في المناطق المحررة بما فيها الاستمرار في إدخال المساعدات عبر معابر باب الهوى والسلامة والراعي. 

Statement

On the Criminal Assad Regime's Decision to Allow Humanitarian Aid Entry via the Border to Northern Syria          

        In its relentless siege and starvation of Syrians in Syria as a whole and particularly in liberated areas, the criminal Assad regime has unilaterally issued a decision to authorize the United Nations and its specialized agencies to bring in aid through the Bab al-Hawa crossing for a period of six months, in full cooperation and coordination with them. This implies control over international assistance in these areas and exploiting it according to its interests and supporting its war machine against the Syrians

        This hostile step against the Syrian people comes through obstructing the delivery of humanitarian aid to millions of needy people in northern Syrian and attempting to politicize and control it, coinciding with its heinous aggression against the Syrian people through continuous shelling of cities and markets

        As the Syrian Interim Government, we express our rejection of this endeavor and emphasize once again the necessity of not politicizing the humanitarian aid file. We call on the United Nations Security Council to fulfill its responsibilities towards the Syrians in the liberated areas, including the continuation of aid delivery through the Bab al-Hawa, Bab al-Salam, and al-Rai crossings
