على مدار الأيام الماضية قامت مليشيات الأسد وحلفاؤه بتصعيد كبير على المدنيين في المناطق المحررة من خلال جولات مستمرة من القصف المدفعي والصاروخي مما أدى لسقوط شهداء وجرحى معظمهم من النساء والأطفال في مناطق عديدة، وشملت هذه الجرائم الوحشية على استخدام الأسلحة المحرمة دولياً من خلال استهداف مدينة إدلب مرتين على التوالي عبر سلاح صاروخي أرض -أرض تحمل مادة الفوسفور الحارق.

ويأتي هذا التصعيد الخطير في سياق جرائم مستمرة وواسعة النطاق تمثل جرائم حرب جديدة وجرائم ضد الإنسانية تهدف إلى تشريد الأهالي وقتل أكبر عدد منهم وتدمير الممتلكات في ظل الظروف الإنسانية شديدة التعقيد.

وعليه نذكر المجتمع الدولي مجدداً بواجباته وندعو المؤسسات الأممية والدولية إلى القيام بواجباتها والضغط على نظام الأسد وحلفائه لوقف هذه الجرائم ومحاسبة النظام المجرم.

Statement On the Criminal Regime's Use of Internationally Prohibited Weapons in Liberated Areas

Over the past few days, the Assad regime and its allies have escalated their attacks on civilians in liberated areas through continuous rounds of artillery and missile shelling. This has resulted in the loss of lives and injuries, with the majority being women and children in various regions. These heinous crimes have included the use of internationally prohibited weapons, targeting the city of Idlib twice in a row using ground-to-ground missiles carrying incendiary phosphorus

This dangerous escalation occurs within the context of ongoing and widespread crimes, constituting new war crimes and crimes against humanity aimed at displacing the population, killing as many as possible, and destroying property in the midst of extremely complex humanitarian conditions

Therefore, we remind the international community once again of its duties, calling on international and UN institutions to fulfill their responsibilities and exert pressure on the Assad regime and its allies to cease these crimes and hold the criminal regime accountable
